If you want to build bigger muscles, the best thing that you can do is strength training. But before you go about it, you need some information on how maximize your time working out. Here are some tips that you can follow to maximize your strength training sessions.

Strength Training to Build Muscle Mass

1. Mix it up with heavy then light weights. For the first month, you pump heavier weights and on the second month you go lighter. The way to do this is to perform about six repetitions per exercise on the heavy weights and about 12 repetitions on the lighter weights. This strength training move will not only develop the strength in your arms but contribute to improved stamina, too.

2. Use a medicine ball. Pass a medicine ball back and forth against a wall that is about eight feet in front of you. You can do this exercise by throwing the ball chest-pass style. This will build agility.

3. Broaden your shoulders to make your waist look smaller. Grasp a dumbbell in each of your hands. Raise your left arm to full extension. Hold it. Then raise your right arm to full extension without lowering your left. Lower the right about a fourth of the way. Push it back up. Then lower it to the starting position. Do the same with the other arm. Do this ten times. Do this exercise 2 times per week for the next four weeks and you could see your deltoid muscles growing in mass.
